I don't know how many "Ducks" we have in Seattle, but in Victoria they have 3 siblings of hippos - Henrietta, Henry, and Happy. Below is Happy Hippo... - Ms. K
We are students in Ms Kathleen's class who want to share what we learn in our classroom and explore the world beyond our classroom. We hope to journey in our adventures with our classmates, family, and friends around the world.

Ms. Kathleen's Canada Day Vacation
We celebrated the 4th of July week in...Canada! Canada's Birthday is July 1st so instead of watching fireworks in the United States, we crossed the border to watch fireworks in Canada. Those Canadians sure know how to party.
Canadians and guests like us celebrated in front of the parliament building (where the government usually do their jobs) with music, food, dancing, and activities for kids.
Even the pirates came to the show...
The grand finale was all worth it! This is the first 45 seconds of a spectacular show.

In the meantime on the other side of the harbor, workers set up for fireworks on the beach. They will be aimed toward the water when they are set off.
