Coffee's Farewell from Japan

 To our friends at McDonal International School,

Thank you so much for an incredible time with Coffee. We had so much fun hosting Coffee the Coyote, 89. She was curious and charming and ready to try anything as she visited all the homes hosted by the 6th grade children at Chitose Elementary School in Tokyo, Japan, and went to all the places they decided to take her and tried all the food she was offered to eat.

Yesterday, we had a farewell party for Coffee. The children spent their final time together, writing messages and folding origami gifts for Coffee to take back home along with her 日本旅日記 (nihon tabi nikki), Japan Diary. Atom had returned just the day before from Seattle, so was able to join the farewell party and have a bit of cozy time before Coffee departed. Here are some photos for you to enjoy!
