Highlights of the week from Stella



The highlights of the week is making the glyphs, making the clay glyphs.  I chose Night Deer as my Mayan nickname.  It was fun to make.  I brought some clay; I'm going to make my sister a glyph.  I didn't choose a name for her yet.  Also in art, we finished paper macheing our cat jugs. 

My book club book is Ramona the Brave.  It is really funny.  For example, Ramona plays brick factory.  It's where they smash bricks into dust.

    Audrey - Did Ramona succeed smashing bricks? It is really nice of you to bring some clay for your sister.

    Stella - She did succeed.
    Halle - I read Ramona the Brave also. They pretended the brick factory is flooded with water.
    Felix - What is brick factory?
    Carys - What do they do with the brick dust?
    Stella - They wash the brick dust off their driveway with water.
