Mazu got to light the menorah during Hanukkah.

Mazu got to try latke!(A latke is a potato pancake commonly eaten as part of a Hanukkah celebration.) Mazu thought it was delicious and was glad to try a new food from a different culture.

Spider was  running around with us at recess.
I was sort of doing Typing and Spider was helping me focus.

We were watching videos from Georgia, Mexico, and New Jersey, USA.
Pinky with Sylvia at recess.
We finished the book Edward Tulane.  We analyzed the story by looking at the problem, summary, character, character change, lesson, setting, and connection to self.

We though of stories and we used a story mountain to help us plan the story.

We thought of a story and were doing the draft of the story.

We just got new books for our book clubs.  This whiteboard shows if we are reading our book club books and taking notes or if we are reading our "just right" books.

In this activity, we thought of things that will help us be less angry.

For the activity, we wrote down the ways we can calm ourselves down.

Music with Ms. Pollema - we were passing the beanbags around and we had to throw them back and forth to a steady beat and if we dropped the beanbag, we had to sit down.  If we were off the steady beat, we had to sit down.

We are cleaning up right now.
