Highlights of the last week of school

We earned another celebration!  Here are the ideas.

We voted for finishing up the movie Jumanji, 1 hour of movie watching.

On Monday, we finish up little chores like shelving books, cleaning out our room, and choosing our souvenirs from our cultural exchange with Mexico.

The Vote!
The Inuits hard at work coming up with the right background for their play.

The Iroquois practicing hard for their play.

The Zuni doing a read through of The Strongest One.
The Lakota worked outside.
The last of the souvenirs...

The Inuits performing the play The Cannibal Monster, a Tlingit Tale.

The Lakotas performing the play Wihio's Duck Dance, a Cheyenne Tale

Our class writing Thank You notes to all the wonderful volunteers who supported our classroom.

We wrote down our favorite flavors of donuts to have as our treats the last day of school.

This is what was left after everyone picked out their treat.

 Our last autographed class book...

On the last day of class, we finally got to draw on the big front whiteboard!

Autograph party!

Our closing circle where we shared memories, comments, and compliments about our past year.

  1. It's been such fun to read the blog throughout the year. Thank you for providing this glimpse into the school day, and for everything you've done for the third graders this year.
