Highlights of the week from Owen and Olivia

 Spider wanted candy.
Spider was watching my soccer game.
Spider wanted something to play with.
Our soccer game just ended.

Spider was cheering my soccer game.

It snowed!

We are filling out a graphic organizer for a review of Taiko drumming.

We drew for genre bingo and these are the winners.  Readers are put in a drawing for prizes after finishing every 5-6 books.

research and drafting groups...

We were drafting for the World Citizen Essay.

This is our drafting progress in one session.

We offered revision suggestion notes about what we think of the drafts.

The lesson on ignoring distractions.  Ms. K and Ms. Kochvar modeled what happens when people talk loudly and becomes distracting.

These are our celebration ideas.  We earned another celebration.

This is our lesson about how to hook someone into reading our essays.

Spider is helping us with our essay.
